Have you ever thought about the preferred way of managing a flock of traditional project managers and their portfolio of projects? Does it have to be traditional as well? Well, not necessarily.
This session will present an experience report of how we introduced Kanban in such an environment. We will see how we turned a quite waterfall-oriented organization into a lean and flexible
service provider to the whole organization by applying the basic principles of Kanban.
But it's not only about applying principles and practices. I will also show how we established a culture of continuous improvement in the department and this slowly influenced other departments in the organization, technical and non-technical ones, to adopt lean and agile principles for their daily business.
